Just give a short outlines here to show the main research achievements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We have improved and maturized the Raman fiber amplifier based guide star lasers. The laser can now <a href=\"http:\/\/onlinelibrary.wiley.com\/doi\/10.1002\/lpor.201400055\/abstract\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"operate at CW, 100 microsecond quasi-CW (opens in a new tab)\">operate at CW, 100 microsecond quasi-CW<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.osapublishing.org\/ol\/abstract.cfm?uri=ol-42-21-4351\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"pulsed at Larmor frequency (opens in a new tab)\">pulsed at Larmor frequency<\/a>. Laser prototypes were tested at telescopes for sodium guide star, and also for <a href=\"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.1029\/2019JA026956\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"mesospheric magnetometry (opens in a new tab)\">mesospheric magnetometry<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With cascaded random Raman fiber laser, we have demonstrated up to 11 th Raman Stokes light generation. With a Yb pump laser at 1 micron, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nature.com\/articles\/srep42611\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"continuous wavelength tuning up to 2 micron (opens in a new tab)\">continuous wavelength tuning up to 2 micron<\/a> were demonstrated. With <a href=\"https:\/\/ieeexplore.ieee.org\/document\/8063932\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"this technology (opens in a new tab)\">this technology<\/a>, fiber lasers can now output <a href=\"https:\/\/www.osapublishing.org\/abstract.cfm?URI=ASSL-2018-AW1A.6\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"more than 100 W at any wavelength from 1030 nm to 2000 nm (opens in a new tab)\">more than 100 W at any wavelength from 1030 nm to 2000 nm<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We continued our study on mode locked Raman fiber lasers, have made some interesting demonstrations including <a href=\"https:\/\/www.osapublishing.org\/ol\/abstract.cfm?uri=ol-42-24-5162\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"NPR mode locked dissipative soliton (opens in a new tab)\">NPR mode locked dissipative soliton<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.osapublishing.org\/oe\/abstract.cfm?uri=oe-27-13-17905\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"figure of 8 dissipative soliton (opens in a new tab)\">figure of 8 dissipative soliton<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.osapublishing.org\/jlt\/abstract.cfm?uri=jlt-37-4-1333\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"rectangular pulse generation (opens in a new tab)\">rectangular pulse generation<\/a> etc. We believe we have improved the understanding of mode locked Raman fiber lasers now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Amplified spontanesou emission sources were found to be <a href=\"https:\/\/www.osapublishing.org\/oe\/abstract.cfm?uri=oe-26-5-5275\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"useful for pumping cascaded random Raman fiber lasers (opens in a new tab)\">useful for pumping cascaded random Raman fiber lasers<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.osapublishing.org\/ol\/abstract.cfm?uri=ol-42-24-5162\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"mode locked Raman fiber lasers (opens in a new tab)\">mode locked Raman fiber lasers<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Specialty (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.osapublishing.org\/oe\/abstract.cfm?uri=oe-27-24-35362\" target=\"_blank\">Specialty<\/a> <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"lasers (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.osapublishing.org\/ao\/abstract.cfm?uri=ao-56-32-8973\" target=\"_blank\">lasers<\/a> <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"at (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"http:\/\/ieeexplore.ieee.org\/document\/7562563\/\" target=\"_blank\">at<\/a> <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"various (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.osapublishing.org\/jlt\/abstract.cfm?uri=jlt-34-18-4266\" target=\"_blank\">various<\/a> <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"wavelengths (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"http:\/\/ieeexplore.ieee.org\/xpl\/articleDetails.jsp?arnumber=7254125\" target=\"_blank\">wavelengths<\/a> were demonstrated with wavelength tuning of fiber lasers and <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"second harmonic generations (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/iopscience.iop.org\/article\/10.1088\/1612-202X\/aafd1c\" target=\"_blank\">second harmonic generations<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Besides, we have made contributions in scattered topics. Many of them are actually more interesting and look for futher developments.
